Help decorate and light up the Garden Gate for the Holidays!
Henry Bear's Park Wrapping 12/13 Sat. 10 AM- 6 PM
Are you looking for the perfect volunteer opportunity for you and your family this holiday season? Look no further, we have an opportunity for you! Please consider donating an hour of your time to wrap presents for the holidays at our local toy store - Henry Bear's Park. You probably need to go there for your holiday shopping anyway...so why not stay an hour and contribute and raise some money for our school!?!
All donations received will benefit your child(ren) through enrichment and other PTO sponsored events. In addition, Henry Bear's Park will match the total collected donations with a gift certificate to the store. The gift certificate will be a nice way to say thank you to our wonderful teachers - and allow them to select some fun games, books, etc. for their classrooms.
Next Tuesday, December 9th, Hardy's 4th and 5th grades will get a taste of being a Computer Scientist. Through tutorials provided at hourofcode.com, Hardy parents will be leading workshops showing that computer programming is fun, that anyone can learn it and it will equip the kids for jobs ranging from agriculture, construction, entertainment, technology to zoology.
Contact Eva Bitteker to get involved next Tuesday or beyond.
On behalf of the entire Hardy community, Thank you!
Jenn Irvine & Kevin Fudge, PTO Co-Presidents

Kindergarten parents Sarah Evans and Bruce Macindoe have been working hard to design these beautiful 100% cotton hoodies for children and adults. These sweatshirts are available for purchase online here. Hoodies are $25 each and run a bit small, so order a size up…better to have room to grow!
