Math Morning June 2nd-June 4th
We are very excited to invite you to our second annual math
morning at Hardy School! Please join us as we work together to
understand the new math common core and learn about Hardy School’s Math
Kindergarten and First Grade: Tuesday, June 2nd Second Grade and Third Grade: Wednesday, June 3rd Fourth Grade and Fifth Grade: Thursday, June 4th
Each morning will run from 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. and you will have the opportunity to:
1. Meet Paula O’Sullivan the Hardy School math coach who supports teachers in our math mission.
Give this “new math” a try! We have some problems for you to think
about that will help you to begin to understand what your children do
with numbers each day.
3. SPEND TIME WITH YOUR
CHILD in his or her classroom learning about what he or she is
specifically doing in math. Learn a game, participate in a lesson, or
travel through math center stations.

Kindergarten parents Sarah Evans and Bruce Macindoe have been working hard to design these beautiful 100% cotton hoodies for children and adults. These sweatshirts are available for purchase online here. Hoodies are $25 each and run a bit small, so order a size up…better to have room to grow!
