Winter Concert — On Tuesday, February 14

“Winter Birds and Other Songs” — Come join us for a musical morning of singing, drumming, chanting, and movement in the gym at 9 A.M. The children are encouraged to wear festive attire from their native lands and cultures.

Giving Tree

Thanks to all the Hardy and Thompson families morefor making the Giving Tree such a success this year. The Giving Tree is part of a larger program called “Holiday Help” supported by the Board of Youth Services of the Town of Arlington. This program was started over 25 years ago by Patsy Kramer a long time resident of Arlington. She is still coordinating it with help from Lori Talanian, who is a member of the Board of Youth Services. This year the Holiday Help program provided gifts for over 270 Arlington children in need. Our Giving Tree provided 75 gifts to this cause. There were also over 56 organizations and private individuals who were involved in gift giving. — Mary DeCourcey

English Language Classes

Are you an international parent who wants to improve your English communication skills? MoreEnglish conversation classes will be held on Wednesday mornings. We’ll discuss practical as well as fun topics such as school programs, US holidays, local customs and more. The first session will begin on September 28th.
