Dear Hardy School Parents and Guardians,
On behalf of the Hardy School staff, welcome to a new school year. We are pleased to have you as partners in the education of your children.
My work with the staff in preparation for your children’s arrival has made it clear to me why Hardy’s reputation for excellence is so strong. Our teachers have put in hours since mid-August preparing their classrooms, meeting with colleagues, and planning for these important first days. Our custodians have cleaned and polished, and the building shines. Our support staff have moved furniture, distributed supplies, and helped make the school ready to run smoothly. All we needed was your children!
Now, at last, they are here! They come to us with eyes wide, full of promise, and perhaps a little anxious. But we have done this before and we are ready...with warm smiles and reassuring routines, with sincere encouragement and work that matters. We know it will be a rewarding year for all of us.
I urge you to take an active role in your child’s school experience. Nothing has a more positive effect on student success than a solid partnership between home and school. There will be many opportunities for you to get involved, through your child’s classroom or through the PTO. Watch for information on our website.
