Hello Hardy Families,
Now this is what I call glorious weather! We are a bit hot inside the building, but we are not complaining about the sunshine. A few things to note as Spring is in full swing.
1. Our lost and found is overflowing from winter. Pleas come and take a look at the items on the stage and hanging on the rails of the ramp. We will donate these items to a shelter at the end of the week.
2. Bicycles and scooters are a great way to get to school. When using the crosswalk at Brooks and Lake, and as a general rule, please dismount your bikes and scooters and walk them in front of the school and to the bike rack. This is for safety! The crossing guard has asked for help reminding your students about this rule.
3. The playground is quite busy at dismissal. Please remember that students need to be supervised during their after school play at the playground. This includes fifth grade. While I know fifth graders should be given some safe independence, please choose times other than after school at Hardy.
I am looking forward to all the fun events that this time of the brings. Stay tuned for an end of the year DeFrancisco's Declarations, but keep in mind the following dates.
