Buy and read lots of books from the Annual Hardy Book fair!
The fair will be held in the school library Monday, October 21, through Friday, October 25.
There are only a few spots left…don't miss out on your chance to be a book fair superhero!!
Each class visits the fair during its scheduled library time, and children will be able to choose a book to purchase. We will also offer extended hours for parents to shop at the fair!

In addition, the fair will be open during our special event with Sage Stossel, local author-illustrator of On the Loose in Boston, on Wednesday, Oct 23 6-7:30 pm.

Save the Date: An Evening with Local Author-Illustrator Sage Stossel
Sage Stossel, local author and illustrator of On the Loose in Boston, On the Loose in Washington, D.C., and the upcoming graphic novel, Starling, will visit Hardy School during the October Book Fair on Wednesday, October 23, from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Learn how a book is created, see Sage doodle, and then have her sign your very own copy of her book. The book fair will be open that evening for shopping—however, we ask that you do not leave children unattended at any time.

The Hardy School PTO directory is printed once a year and includes names, addresses, phone numbers and email addresses of Hardy families. It's very helpful when planning play dates, birthday parties or when you need to get in touch with another Hardy School family. Participation is voluntary and the full directory will be distributed to all Hardy School families. If you are a new family at Hardy, were missing from last year's directory or need to correct your family information please use this link to provide the proper information. Deadline for inclusion in the directory has been extended to Monday, October 21.

Box Tops Update & Raffle
Hardy families have already raised over $500 for our school. Thank You! BoxTops help us pay for field trips, enrichment programs, playground maintenance and more. Our fall submission deadline is coming up. Submit your BoxTops as soon as possible! Put them in a plastic baggie or stick them on a collection sheet. Leave them in the BoxTops Mailbox (next to the school nurse's office) by Monday, Oct 21st. Be sure to list your child's name and classroom teacher for a chance to win free movie passes to the Capitol Theatre!
